A third generation Floridian, Kate Watson graduated from the University of Florida in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in English and received her Juris Doctorate degree from the City University of New York School of Law in 2011. In between undergraduate school and law school, Ms. Watson dedicated a few years of her professional life to teaching– first teaching English as a Foreign Language in Madrid, Spain, and then as a high school teacher in South Florida. Ms. Watson is conversational in Spanish.

Upon graduation, Ms. Watson felt compelled to serve the community and accepted a position as staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County. For three years, Ms. Watson represented the indigent residents of Palm Beach County on a variety of civil legal issues including: immigration and naturalization, divorce, family law, dependency, public benefits, landlord tenant, domestic violence injunctions, Social Security Disability claims, sealing/expungement, and guardianship.

Ms. Watson has been an attorney for ten years. The last five years have been focused on civil defense, representing corporate defendants in multi-million-dollar lawsuits. In this capacity, she faced some of the best attorneys in the nation. Ms. Watson founded The Watson Law Firm, P.A. and is looking forward to using her skills and experience to zealously advocate for each of her clients.

Ms. Watson is a member of the Florida Bar, the Palm Beach Bar Association, Craig S. Barnard Inns of Court, and is a former director of the North County Section of the Palm Beach Bar Association.
